The S/S Karim – Steam Ship Karim Nile Cruise, built in 1917, carries a rich Egyptian legacy. King Fuad I originally used this historic vessel. Followed by his son, King Farouk.
After the Egyptian revolution, the state took over the S/S Karim, and it hosted President Gamal Abd El Nasser. And later President Anwar Al Sadat and his wife Gihan.
Today, the ship still runs on its original 1917 steam engine and stern quarter wheel paddles. Blending modern comfort with the grandeur of a bygone era.
