Dahab’s famous reefs
Dahab is a relaxed town on the Gulf of Aqaba, about an hour and a half from Sharm El Sheikh. North of town, the reef drops straight off the shore, so you can snorkel without a boat.
The Canyon and the Blue Hole
At the Canyon, the reef wall is split by a deep crack. At the Blue Hole, you snorkel the coral along the shallow rim of a vast sinkhole, with deep blue water below.
Good to know
This is a snorkelling trip only. The Blue Hole is a site for experienced, qualified divers, not for snorkellers going deep.
