2. Our Role and Third-Party Suppliers
Travel services may be provided directly by us or by independent third-party suppliers, including cruise operators, hotels, airlines, transportation companies, restaurants, guides, activity providers, ticket providers, and local service partners.
Depending on the booking, we may act as:
- The organizer of a combined travel arrangement;
- An agent arranging services supplied by third parties; or
- An intermediary helping you select and reserve a travel service.
Our role for a specific booking will be determined by the services described in your written quotation, invoice, voucher, or Booking Confirmation.
Third-party suppliers may impose their own booking, payment, amendment, baggage, conduct, cancellation, refund, and liability conditions. Relevant supplier conditions form part of your booking where they have been provided to you or brought to your attention.
3. Website Information and Availability
We make reasonable efforts to keep the website accurate and current. However, cruise schedules, itineraries, cabin descriptions, facilities, photographs, availability, prices, entrance fees, sailing times, operating days, and other travel information may change.
Information displayed on the website is provided for general planning purposes unless expressly identified as a confirmed offer. Website content does not guarantee live availability.
A cruise, cabin, hotel, tour, transfer, flight, or other service is not reserved merely because you submit an inquiry or receive an initial price indication.
Your booking becomes confirmed only when:
- We have checked availability;
- You have accepted the final quotation and booking details;
- We have received the required deposit or full payment; and
- We have sent you a written Booking Confirmation.
Until all four steps have occurred, prices and availability may change without notice.
4. Eligibility and Authority to Book
You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into a binding agreement to make a booking.
When booking for more than one traveler, the person making the booking confirms that they:
- Have authority to act for every traveler included in the booking;
- Have provided each traveler with these Terms and Conditions;
- Accept financial responsibility for the booking;
- Have obtained permission to provide the travelers’ personal information; and
- Will communicate booking information and changes to every traveler.
The lead traveler is responsible for ensuring that all names, dates of birth, passport details, contact information, room requirements, and other booking information are complete and accurate.
5. Quotations and Prices
Unless stated otherwise, quotations are based on the number of travelers, travel dates, room or cabin occupancy, itinerary, service category, and inclusions requested at the time of the quotation.
Your quotation will normally identify:
- The services included;
- The services excluded;
- The total price or price per traveler;
- The applicable currency;
- The required deposit;
- The payment schedule;
- The cancellation conditions;
- The validity period of the quotation; and
- Any special conditions applying to the booking.
Prices may change before confirmation because of changes in availability, supplier rates, government taxes, entrance fees, fuel costs, exchange rates, or the number of travelers.
After confirmation, we will not change the price except where:
- You request an amendment;
- Information supplied by you was incorrect;
- The number of travelers or required rooms changes;
- A government tax, fee, or mandatory charge changes;
- A supplier imposes a permitted surcharge; or
- The Booking Confirmation expressly allows the adjustment.
Any obvious pricing or typographical error is not binding. If an error is identified, we will provide the correct price and allow you to accept the corrected price or cancel the unconfirmed request.
6. Deposits and Booking Payments
Unless your quotation or Booking Confirmation states otherwise:
- A 30% deposit of the total booking price is required to confirm a standard booking.
- A 50% deposit may be required for bookings during Christmas or New Year periods or for arrangements that include flights.
- Certain cruises, hotels, flights, special-event packages, private charters, or non-refundable supplier rates may require a higher deposit or full advance payment.
The remaining balance must be paid according to the schedule stated in your invoice or Booking Confirmation. Where expressly agreed, the balance may be paid in installments or in cash upon arrival.
We may accept payment through:
- Visa;
- Mastercard;
- Bank transfer;
- Western Union; or
- Another payment method stated in your invoice.
A payment is considered received only when cleared funds are available to us or our authorized payment provider.
You are responsible for bank charges, card charges, transfer costs, currency-conversion charges, intermediary-bank fees, and similar payment expenses unless your invoice expressly states that they are included.
Payment instructions should be verified using our official email address or published telephone and WhatsApp number. We are not responsible for payments sent to unauthorized persons or accounts because of phishing, impersonation, or instructions not issued through our official communication channels.
7. Failure to Pay
If a required payment is not received by the stated deadline, we may:
- Cancel the booking;
- Release the reserved cruise, cabin, hotel room, flight, or other service;
- Retain amounts permitted under the applicable cancellation conditions; and
- Recover reasonable costs already incurred for the booking.
Reinstatement after cancellation is subject to availability and may require a new price or additional fee.
8. Booking Documents
After confirmation, we may issue one or more of the following:
- Booking Confirmation;
- Invoice or payment receipt;
- Cruise or tour voucher;
- Hotel voucher;
- Transfer instructions;
- Flight information;
- Emergency contact information; or
- Final itinerary.
You must review all documents promptly and notify us immediately of any error.
Failure to report an error may result in amendment charges, cancellation charges, denied boarding, refused hotel check-in, or other losses for which you may be responsible.
9. Passports, Visas and Entry Requirements
Travelers are responsible for obtaining and carrying all documents required for their trip, including:
- A passport with sufficient validity;
- An Egyptian visa or other entry authorization;
- Domestic or international flight documents;
- Travel insurance documents;
- Health or vaccination documents where required;
- Documents required for children or minors; and
- Any permit required by an airline, border authority, or government agency.
Visa and entry requirements depend on nationality, passport type, residence, travel history, and current government rules. Information provided by us is general guidance and is not a guarantee that entry will be granted.
We are not responsible when a traveler is refused boarding, entry, transit, or participation because of missing, expired, inaccurate, damaged, or unsuitable documents.
10. Health, Mobility and Special Requirements
You must inform us before booking of any medical condition, disability, reduced mobility, pregnancy, allergy, dietary requirement, or other circumstance that may affect your ability to participate safely.
Cruise vessels, archaeological sites, temples, tombs, docks, transportation vehicles, and older buildings may include:
- Stairs;
- Narrow entrances;
- Uneven ground;
- Limited elevator access;
- Unstable boarding areas;
- Long walking distances;
- Heat exposure; and
- Limited accessibility facilities.
We will make reasonable efforts to communicate special requests to suppliers, but a request is not guaranteed unless confirmed in writing.
We may decline or modify a booking when a supplier cannot safely or reasonably accommodate a traveler’s needs. Travelers requiring personal assistance must travel with a companion capable of providing that assistance unless another arrangement has been confirmed.
11. Children and Minors
Children must be supervised by a responsible adult throughout the trip.
Unless a specific cruise or package states otherwise, the following child pricing may apply when one child shares a room or cabin with parents:
- Ages 0 to 1.99 years: free of charge;
- Ages 2 to 5.99 years: 25% of the adult price;
- Ages 6 to 11.99 years: 50% of the adult price; and
- Ages 12 years and above: adult price.
Flight tickets, entrance fees, extra beds, family cabins, private transfers, and supplier-specific arrangements may be charged differently. The exact child policy stated in your quotation or Booking Confirmation will control.
Parents and guardians are responsible for confirming passport, visa, consent, and airline requirements for minors.
12. What Is Included and Excluded
Only services specifically listed as included in your quotation or Booking Confirmation form part of the booking.
Depending on the selected package, inclusions may include cruise accommodation, meals, guided sightseeing, entrance fees, bottled water, transfers, taxes, or service charges.
Unless expressly included, the following are normally excluded:
- International flights;
- Domestic flights;
- Visas;
- Travel insurance;
- Optional excursions;
- Additional meals or drinks;
- Alcoholic beverages;
- Personal expenses;
- Laundry, spa, telephone, or minibar charges;
- Tips and gratuities;
- Excess baggage charges;
- Early check-in or late check-out;
- Services not expressly stated in the itinerary; and
- Costs resulting from delays or circumstances outside our control.
13. Itinerary and Vessel Changes
Nile cruise and Egypt tour itineraries may be affected by navigation conditions, river traffic, lock schedules, docking availability, weather, water levels, government decisions, security measures, religious holidays, monument closures, supplier operations, maintenance, or other circumstances.
The order and timing of visits may therefore change without reducing the overall intended content of the trip.
A cruise operator may substitute the named vessel with another vessel of a reasonably comparable category where operationally necessary. We will inform you of a known material substitution when reasonably possible.
Where a significant confirmed service cannot be supplied, we may offer:
- A comparable alternative;
- A different date;
- A revised itinerary;
- An appropriate price adjustment;
- A travel credit; or
- A refund of the recoverable amount for the affected service.
Minor timing, docking, route-order, guide, vehicle, or operational changes do not normally entitle a traveler to cancel without the applicable cancellation charges.
14. Amendments Requested by You
All amendment requests must be submitted in writing by email or WhatsApp.
Changes are subject to availability and are not effective until confirmed by us in writing.
You must pay:
- Any supplier amendment or cancellation fee;
- Any increase in the price of the replacement service;
- Any non-refundable amount already committed; and
- Any reasonable administrative cost disclosed before the amendment is processed.
A change of traveler name may be treated as a cancellation and new booking, particularly for flights, named tickets, non-transferable reservations, and supplier-controlled services.
A substantial change to dates, route, cruise, hotel, or package may also be treated as a cancellation and new booking.
15. Cancellation by You
A cancellation must be sent in writing to info@egyptnilecruisehub.com or through our official WhatsApp number.
The cancellation takes effect when we receive the written notice during our normal business hours.
The cancellation terms stated in your quotation, invoice, Booking Confirmation, or applicable supplier conditions will apply.
Unless your Booking Confirmation states otherwise, the following default cancellation charges apply as a percentage of the total booking price:
- More than 60 days before the service start date: 20%;
- From 31 to 60 days before the service start date: 30%;
- From 15 to 30 days before the service start date: 50%;
- From 0 to 14 days before the service start date: 100%; and
- No-show or failure to join the service: 100%.
The cancellation date is calculated using Egypt local time.
The following may be fully non-refundable from the time they are booked:
- Issued airline tickets;
- Certain domestic flights;
- Special-event arrangements;
- Christmas and New Year reservations;
- Private charters;
- Non-refundable hotel or cruise rates;
- Named entrance tickets; and
- Services for which a supplier has already imposed a non-refundable charge.
Where a supplier’s cancellation cost exceeds the default schedule, the documented supplier cost may apply if disclosed in the quotation, Booking Confirmation, or supplier terms.
We strongly recommend comprehensive travel insurance covering cancellation, illness, emergency treatment, interruption, baggage, and other foreseeable travel risks.
16. Refunds
Any approved refund will be calculated after deducting:
- Applicable cancellation charges;
- Non-refundable supplier payments;
- Airline or ticketing penalties;
- Bank and payment-processing charges that cannot be recovered;
- Currency-conversion losses; and
- Services already supplied or used.
Refunds are normally returned through the original payment method where reasonably possible. Processing time may depend on banks, card providers, suppliers, and payment intermediaries.
A refund is not available for:
- Unused services voluntarily missed by a traveler;
- Late arrival or early departure;
- Refusal to participate;
- Failure to carry correct travel documents;
- Removal because of misconduct;
- Services changed or missed because of the traveler’s own arrangements; or
- Circumstances expressly excluded by the Booking Confirmation.
Nothing in this section limits any refund or remedy that must be provided under applicable law.
17. Cancellation or Significant Change by Us
We may cancel or significantly change a booking where necessary because of:
- Supplier cancellation;
- Vessel maintenance or operational failure;
- Insufficient availability;
- Government restrictions;
- Safety or security concerns;
- Force majeure;
- Failure to receive payment;
- Materially incorrect traveler information; or
- Another circumstance making performance impossible, unlawful, or unsafe.
Where we cancel a confirmed service for reasons not caused by you, we will normally offer, as appropriate:
- A comparable alternative;
- A rescheduled service;
- A travel credit; or
- A refund of amounts received for the cancelled service, less any non-recoverable third-party amount where legally permitted.
We are not responsible for separate travel arrangements you booked independently, including international flights, hotels, visas, or transportation not included in our Booking Confirmation.
18. Force Majeure and Events Beyond Our Control
“Force majeure” means an event beyond the reasonable control of the affected party. Examples include:
- Severe weather or natural disaster;
- Flood, fire, earthquake, or epidemic;
- War, armed conflict, terrorism, or civil unrest;
- Government action or travel restriction;
- Border or airspace closure;
- Public-health emergency;
- Strike or labor disruption;
- Transport interruption;
- Navigation restriction;
- Lock or port closure;
- Utility or communications failure; and
- A comparable event that could not reasonably have been prevented.
Where force majeure affects a booking, we will make reasonable efforts to provide assistance and suitable alternatives.
Refunds will be limited to amounts we can recover from the relevant suppliers after deducting lawful and disclosed costs, except where applicable law requires a different remedy.
We are not liable for indirect or consequential costs resulting from force majeure, including independently booked flights, accommodation, missed connections, loss of earnings, or additional personal expenses.
19. Traveler Conduct
Travelers must:
- Follow reasonable instructions given by guides, drivers, crew members, hotels, suppliers, and authorities;
- Comply with applicable laws and local customs;
- Respect archaeological sites, religious places, local communities, staff, and other travelers;
- Avoid conduct that is dangerous, abusive, threatening, discriminatory, disruptive, or unlawful; and
- Take reasonable care of property and facilities.
A traveler may be removed from a cruise, tour, hotel, vehicle, or activity where their behavior creates a safety risk, causes serious disruption, damages property, or violates applicable rules.
No refund will be due for services lost because of such removal. The traveler remains responsible for resulting damage, penalties, alternative transportation, accommodation, and other costs.
20. Alcohol, Illegal Substances and Restricted Items
Travelers must comply with the policies of cruise operators, hotels, airlines, transportation companies, and government authorities concerning alcohol, medication, restricted items, and illegal substances.
Possession, use, or transportation of illegal substances or prohibited items may result in removal from the service and referral to the authorities.
21. Baggage and Personal Property
Travelers are responsible for their baggage, passports, money, electronic devices, jewelry, medication, documents, and other personal property.
Baggage limits may be imposed by airlines, cruise operators, vehicles, or other suppliers.
We are not responsible for loss, theft, or damage unless directly caused by our proven negligence and liability cannot legally be excluded.
Valuable items should be kept in a secure location, and baggage should be covered by suitable travel insurance.
22. Travel Insurance
Comprehensive travel insurance is strongly recommended from the date the booking is confirmed.
Your insurance should be appropriate for your nationality, age, medical circumstances, planned activities, and total trip value. It should normally include:
- Trip cancellation and interruption;
- Emergency medical treatment;
- Medical evacuation and repatriation;
- Personal accident;
- Baggage and personal belongings;
- Travel delays;
- Missed departure; and
- Supplier failure where available.
You are responsible for reviewing all policy conditions and exclusions.
23. Complaints During Travel
If a problem occurs during your trip, you must report it promptly to the relevant supplier and to Egypt Nile Cruise Hub so that there is a reasonable opportunity to resolve it.
Where possible, obtain written confirmation of the complaint and keep photographs, receipts, messages, and other relevant evidence.
A complaint that could reasonably have been corrected during the trip may be harder to resolve if it was not reported at the time.
After travel, written complaints should be submitted to info@egyptnilecruisehub.com, preferably within 14 days after the affected service ends. This requested period does not reduce any longer deadline or legal right provided by mandatory law.
We aim to investigate complaints fairly and may need to obtain information from the relevant supplier.
24. Limitation of Liability
We are responsible for providing services under our direct control with reasonable care and skill.
For services supplied by independent third parties, our responsibility is limited to the extent provided by applicable law and by our role in the particular booking.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for:
- Acts or omissions of a traveler;
- Acts or omissions of an unrelated third party;
- Events that could not reasonably have been predicted or prevented;
- Failure to obtain travel documents;
- Independently booked travel arrangements;
- Loss of business, profit, opportunity, enjoyment, or anticipated savings;
- Indirect, incidental, special, or consequential loss; or
- Information or services provided by an external website.
Where liability may lawfully be limited, our total liability for a claim will not exceed the amount paid to us for the specific affected service.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, death or personal injury caused by negligence, willful misconduct, or any liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited.
Nothing in these Terms removes mandatory consumer rights available under applicable law.
25. Website Use
You may use the website only for lawful personal or legitimate business purposes.
You must not:
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the website or its systems;
- Introduce malware, viruses, harmful code, or automated attacks;
- Scrape or copy substantial website content without permission;

- Submit false, misleading, fraudulent, or unlawful inquiries;
- Impersonate another person;
- Use website content to operate a competing service without authorization; or
- Infringe our intellectual-property rights or the rights of another party.
We may restrict or block access where we reasonably believe the website is being misused.
26. Intellectual Property
Unless otherwise stated, the website’s text, design, branding, logos, graphics, page layouts, itineraries, databases, and original media are owned by or licensed to Egypt Nile Cruise Hub and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.
You may view and print website material for personal travel-planning purposes.
You may not reproduce, republish, distribute, sell, modify, commercially exploit, or systematically extract website content without prior written permission.
Third-party cruise names, hotel names, logos, images, and trademarks belong to their respective owners. Their appearance on the website does not transfer ownership to us.
27. Reviews, Messages and User-Submitted Content
When you submit a review, testimonial, photograph, comment, or other content for publication, you confirm that:
- You own the content or have permission to submit it;
- The content is accurate and lawful;
- It does not infringe another person’s rights; and
- It does not contain confidential, defamatory, discriminatory, threatening, or malicious material.
Unless otherwise agreed, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to reproduce, edit, publish, translate, and display content voluntarily submitted for promotional or informational use.
We may remove user content at our discretion. We will not intentionally publish sensitive personal information without an appropriate basis.
28. External Links
The website may contain links to third-party websites, social-media platforms, maps, payment providers, cruise operators, or other external services.
External websites are controlled by their respective operators. We do not guarantee their availability, accuracy, security, content, or privacy practices.
Accessing an external website is at your own discretion and may be subject to separate terms and policies.
29. Privacy and Cookies
Personal information submitted through the website, email, telephone, WhatsApp, booking documents, or payment process is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable data-protection requirements.
We may need to share relevant traveler information with cruise operators, hotels, airlines, guides, transportation providers, payment providers, government authorities, and other suppliers to arrange and deliver the requested services.
The website may use essential, analytics, functionality, or marketing cookies as explained in our Cookie Policy or cookie-consent notice.
30. Electronic Communications
You agree that we may communicate with you through email, telephone, WhatsApp, website forms, or other contact methods you provide.
Electronic communications, confirmations, approvals, and payment instructions may form part of the booking record.
You are responsible for:
- Providing current contact information;
- Checking your email and messages regularly;
- Reviewing spam or junk folders; and
- Informing us promptly if your contact details change.
A written acceptance sent by email or WhatsApp, together with the required payment, may create a binding booking.
31. Order of Contractual Documents
If documents relating to a booking conflict, the following order will normally apply:
- The final Booking Confirmation;
- The final written quotation and invoice;
- Specific written amendments agreed by both parties;
- Relevant supplier conditions; and
- These general Terms and Conditions.
A specific written condition applies only to the booking for which it was issued.
32. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms and Conditions to reflect changes in our services, suppliers, business practices, technology, or legal obligations.
The revised version will be published on this page with an updated revision date.
The terms applying to a confirmed booking will normally be those accepted when the booking was confirmed, except where a later change is required by law or expressly agreed with you.
33. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unlawful, invalid, or unenforceable, that provision will be limited or removed only to the minimum extent necessary.
The remaining provisions will continue in effect.
34. No Waiver
A delay or failure to enforce a right under these Terms does not waive that right.
A waiver is effective only when confirmed in writing by the party granting it.
35. Assignment
You may not transfer a confirmed booking or your rights under these Terms without our prior written approval.
We may transfer our rights or obligations to an affiliated business, successor, or qualified service provider, provided this does not unlawfully reduce your contractual rights.
36. Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with your final quotation, invoice, Booking Confirmation, supplier conditions, and any written amendments, form the agreement relating to your booking.
They replace prior discussions or representations concerning the same booking, except in cases of fraud or where applicable law provides otherwise.
37. Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms and any non-contractual dispute arising from the website or a booking are governed by the laws of the Arab Republic of Egypt, subject to any mandatory consumer protection that applies in your country of residence.
Before starting formal proceedings, both parties should attempt to resolve the dispute in good faith by written communication.
If a dispute cannot be resolved, it will be submitted to the competent courts of Cairo, Egypt, unless mandatory law gives the consumer the right to bring proceedings in another jurisdiction.
38. Language
These Terms and Conditions are written in English.
A translation may be provided for convenience. If versions differ, the English version will prevail to the extent permitted by applicable law.
