Where does the Commodore start and finish?

Sailings operate between Luxor and Aswan in both directions. The direction of your cruise depends on the departure date, and we will confirm this when you enquire.

Do I need a domestic flight to reach the ship?

Most travellers fly from Cairo to Luxor or Aswan to join the cruise. The overnight sleeper train is an alternative if you prefer. We can arrange either.

Light breathable clothing for daytime, something warmer for evenings on deck in winter, comfortable walking shoes, sun protection and modest clothing for temple visits.

Are guides included at every site?

Yes. A qualified Egyptologist guide accompanies the shore excursions and explains each site as part of the cruise programme.

Can dietary requirements be catered for?

Day 1: Arrival in Aswan – Embarkation & Philae Temple

Morning: Arrive in Aswan and transfer to the Commodore Nile Cruise. Check-in and embark on your luxury cruise.
