When to Book
- Book early. The smallest ships — Sudan, Sun Boat III, Oberoi Philae — have under 25 cabins and sell out first, especially October to April.
- Check inclusions. Confirm whether guided tours, entrance fees and transfers are covered.
- Match the length to the route. Most sailings run 3–7 nights; the Steigenberger Royale’s 15-day Aswan–Cairo voyage is the exception.
